Privacy Policy
postnod is operated by Zapx Solutions Limited, trading as Zapx Labs (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what postnod collects when you use it at usepostnod.com, what we do with it, and who else handles it.
What we collect
- Your account. Your name and email address, and a hashed password if you sign up with one. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, profile picture where the provider supplies one, and the provider’s identifier for your account. We do not receive your Google or Apple password, and we ask for no access to your mail, files, contacts or calendar.
- Your workspace. The brands you set up, the plans and files you upload, the calendar, the posts and images drafted for you, what was approved or rejected and by whom, and what was published.
- Connected publishing accounts. The keys or tokens you give postnod so it can publish through services such as Buffer, Zernio, Postiz or Meta. These are encrypted before they are stored and are never shown back to you or anyone else.
- Notification details. If you turn on push notifications, the address your browser gives us to deliver them and a short description of the device (for example “Chrome on Mac”). Your choices about which notifications you want.
- Technical records. Standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, kept to run and secure the service.
How we use it
To provide postnod: signing you in, drafting posts for your brands, showing them to you for approval, publishing the ones you approve to the accounts you connected, and telling you when something is waiting. We also use it to keep the service secure and to fix problems.
We do not sell your information, we do not show advertising, and we do not use your content to train AI models.
Information from Google and Apple
Information received from Google or Apple when you sign in is used only to create your account and sign you in. It is not used for advertising and is not transferred to anyone except the service providers listed below, as needed to run postnod.
Who else handles it
postnod runs on other companies’ services. They process data on our behalf:
- Vercel hosts the application, stores uploaded and generated files, and routes requests to AI models.
- Neon hosts the database.
- AI model providers, reached through Vercel’s AI Gateway, receive your brand details, plans and drafts so they can generate text and images.
- Resend delivers notification emails.
- Browser push services run by Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft deliver push notifications, depending on your browser.
- Publishing services you connect receive the posts you approve, so they can publish them. Their own privacy policies apply to what they do with them.
- Google and Apple, if you choose to sign in with them.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies
postnod sets a cookie to keep you signed in, and remembers your light or dark theme in your browser. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Keeping and deleting
We keep your information for as long as your account or workspace exists. A workspace owner can delete a workspace from its settings, which removes its brands, posts, generated files and connections. To delete your account, or to ask for a copy of your information or a correction, email us at the address below. Backups and logs may persist for a short period afterwards.
Security
Connections to postnod are encrypted. Passwords are stored hashed and publishing credentials are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information we will tell you.
Children
postnod is a tool for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell account holders by email or in the product.
